When city elegance meets Highland heritage, the result is pure magic. Sarah, a modern bride living in London, chose to celebrate her love with Ben on her family’s estate nestled in the breathtaking Scottish Highlands—a place that has been in her family for over 150 years. Surrounded by wild landscapes and timeless charm, their wedding was a stunning blend of tradition and contemporary style.

I was introduced to Sarah by the wonderful Senel Besim of @senelbesimeventdesign, the mastermind behind the flawlessly executed day.

From our first conversation, it was clear that Sarah had a vision: fresh, glowy, effortlessly chic—red carpet glamour meets editorial edge.

The Beauty Journey

Sarah and I dived into a beauty journey together with three hair trials—yes, three! While that may sound like a lot, it was the perfect way to explore different wave patterns. Once a wave is set in one direction, it’s not easy to reverse, so starting fresh with each trial allowed us to land on the perfect style. Her shoulder-length bob was styled with a polished version of an editorial wave—soft yet defined.

For hair products, I used:

Moroccan Oil Luminous Hairspray Medium for lasting but natural movement

Maria Nila Ocean Spray for texture and hold

Moroccan Oil Perfect Defense Heat Protector for healthy shine

The Makeup Look

For her makeup, Sarah wanted a radiant, modern finish with medium coverage. Inspired by A-listers and refined red carpet looks, we created a luminous, camera-ready glow that still felt like her.

• Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer on the T-zone for smoothness and longevity
• Hourglass Vanish Stick Foundation for a buildable, flawless canvas
• Kosas Pressed Bronzer to add a sun-kissed warmth to her cheeks
• Inika Soft Coral Lipstick paired with Inglot Lipliner for the perfect pout
• Eyes were softly defined using the Makeup By Mario Eyeshadow Palette

A Wedding to Remember

The entire celebration was a masterpiece of planning and love, thanks to Senel and her team who worked closely with Sarah and Ben for 18 months. The joy was palpable, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter, happy tears, and music from @thephatcats that kept guests dancing long into the night.
